Alex Marlow: Iowa Pollster Ann Selzer Should Be Investigated for Election Interference

On Monday’s “Alex Marlow Show,” host and Breitbart Editor-in-Chief Alex Marlow argued that President-Elect Donald Trump should file a lawsuit against Ann Selzer over her inaccurate poll in Iowa.

Marlow said, “[Trump’s] announced he wants a lawsuit against Ann Selzer for rigging her Iowa poll to influence the election, of course he should do this. It absolutely was election interference. This was an insurrection.”

US military releases two Malaysians from Guantanamo prison

The US Defense Department said Wednesday that it had repatriated two Malaysian men from its Guantanamo prison, leaving 27 still held at the American base in Cuba. The two — Mohammed Farik bin Amin and Mohammed Nazir bin Lep — had pled guilty “to multiple offenses, including murder in violation of the Law of War, intentionally causing serious bodily injury, conspiracy, and destruction of property in violation of the Law of War,” the Defense Department said in a statement. But they cooperated and provided testimony against the alleged mastermind of the 2002 attacks on nightclubs in Bali and the 2003 attack on a hotel in Jakarta, the department said. Sentences of about five years in detention were approved for the men and it was “recommended that both men be repatriated or transferred to a third-party sovereign nation to serve the remainder of the approved sentence,” it said. With the announcement of their release — which came a day after the Defense Department said a Kenyan national had been repatriated — 27 detainees remain at Guantanamo, down from a peak of nearly 800. The chairman of the Migration Advisory Committee also predicted that net immigration could be down to around 300,000 ‘in the next two or three years.’ Training more British talent alone “does not guarantee a reduction in the reliance on the immigration system,” the Migration Advisory Committee (MAC) has said. In its annual report published on Tuesday, the MAC said immigration policy should be informed on a sector-by-sector approach, “diagnosing whether shortages are genuinely driven by a lack of skills or are due to poor pay and conditions of certain roles” which causes low engagement from the domestic workforce. MAC Chairman Professor Brian Bell said that while net immigration had been “unusually high” between 2021 and 2023, recent figures indicate it is falling. “Whilst we are expecting net migration to fall further, we would caution the government against seeing linking immigration and skills policy as a one-size-fits all approach to bringing down net migration and encourage them to continue to consider individual circumstances within sectors,” Bell said. Pentagon Funding Alternative Protein Made from Fungus for Military Meals › American Greatness

The Biden Administration’s Department of Defense (DOD) has been spending money on alternatives to meat in its military meals, including fake protein made from fungus. According to Just The News, this funding is part of a broader “sustainability” agenda promoted by far-left activists who believe in global warming, and thus demand the consumption of less meat in order to reduce carbon emissions. The DOD had previously invested in lab-grown “meat” earlier in 2024 before shifting to the current investment in “protein” made from fungi. The DOD announced in November that it had awarded $60 million across 34 different grants to various bioindustrial firms as part of the Distributed Bioindustrial Manufacturing Program (DBIMP).
