U.S. Army Tank Crew Wins International Competition for First Time – HotAir

A four-man Army tank crew from the 1st Battalion, 67th Armor Regiment, 3rd Armored Brigade, 1st Armored Division, defeated teams from four other countries over the past week to achieve the first American victory in the U.S. Army Europe and Africa International Tank Challenge. Taking place in Grafenwoehr, Germany, the competition — which first ran from 2016 to 2018 before being paused due to other competitions and the COVID-19 pandemic — comprises 10 graded events designed to measure a tank crew’s physical fitness, marksmanship and mental acuity. “It still hasn’t fully set in for me, yet, that we managed to win this competition in the manner that it happened,” said Army Sgt. 1st Class Kevin Greene, the winning crew’s tank commander. “The other crews that were behind and chasing … are really talented crews, and the fact that we’re the first American team to [win] on this stage is incredible,” he added. There are those that say all government aid is a scam in one way or another, and so far the revelations surrounding USAID are proving those people right daily. Democrats and the establishment media, in a bid to muddy the waters and save face, continue to claim that there was never any fraud at USAID and that the Trump Administration is simply labeling projects they “disagree with” as suspect. Of course, spending American tax dollars on projects the public never asked for and were never told about is the epitome of fraud, and waste is never a good thing. Beyond that, the question of billions in missing funds certainly falls into the category of criminality. Trump has taken a lot of heat from the media with the shut down of USAID and much of the criticism suggests that without US funds people in third world countries will fall back into desperation. The Washington Post recently claimed that Trump’s cuts to USAID are a “gift to Haitian gangs” terrorizing the locals; a typical leftist appeal to emotion that assumes most of the funds were getting to the Haitians in the first place. Musk Says Federal Worker Email Designed to Determine ‘Outright Fraud’

The head of DOGE said there are examples of ‘non-existent people’ or ‘dead people’ being used to collect federal paychecks. Head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), Elon Musk, said Sunday that an email to federal employees asking them to report their accomplishments over the past week is designed to root out fraud from people who aren’t working. Hundreds of thousands of federal workers were given about 48 hours to provide a response to the email. The deadline to reply is listed as Monday at 11:59 p.m. local time, although the email did not include the same warning that Musk had issued in a separate social media post from Musk. “Failure to respond will be taken as a resignation,” Musk wrote in a Saturday post on X. Foreign National Fined for Voting in 2021 Federal Election, Elections Canada Says

Canada’s election watchdog has reported another case of a foreign national having voted in the 2021 federal election. This revelation followed an Elections Canada internal survey indicating that a third of election officials encountered attempts at ineligible voting in the 2019 federal election. “Michael James Wiest was determined by Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada [IRCC] not to be a Canadian citizen as of polling day for the 44th federal general election but was identified as having voted,” Elections Canada said in a “Summary of the Notice of Violation“ on Feb. 19, as first reported by Blacklock’s Reporter. Wiest, whose nationality was not disclosed, voted at a polling station in the electoral district of Simcoe—Grey in Simcoe County, Central Ontario, on Sept. 20, 2021, according to the Official List of Electors. Under the Canada Elections Act, only Canadian citizens age 18 or older are entitled to vote. Elections Canada said the case has been referred to the Office of the Commissioner of Canada Elections for investigation.
