An accused modern-day Bonnie and Clyde allegedly carried out a string of armed robberies across California — only pausing to get hitched in Las Vegas, according to authorities.
North Hollywood lovebirds Antonio Lamar Bland, 36, and Abigail Luckey, 49, were charged in a federal grand jury indictment for an “armed robbery spree” of 12 stores last year — ironically getting arrested on Valentine’s Day, a week after getting hitched, prosecutors said.
In the robberies, Bland and another man charged alongside them — 23-year-old Ronnie Tucker — would storm the businesses while Luckey waited outside as their getaway driver, the indictment alleges.
The two men wore masks and hooded sweatshirts while holding up clerks at gunpoint and demanding they empty their cash registers — while also stealing bsynaders’ wallets and cellphones, the indictment said.
