In November, The Gateway Pundit reported that an Orthodox Jewish man was shot and injured on his way to synagogue in the heavily Orthodox Jewish West Rogers Park neighborhood of Chicago.
The attacker screamed “Allahu Akbar” before shooting the man leaving him critically injured.

Although authorities were initially quiet on the shooter’s immigration status as well as his motive, the shooter, Sidi Mohamed Abdallahi, a 22-year-old from the northwest African country of Mauritania, was in America illegally.
When first responders arrived on the scene, Abdallahi, who initially fled,  allegedly returned and opened on those trying to aid the victim. Police returned the fire injuring Abdallahi, who was then arrested.

Special Counsel David Weiss pushed back against Joe Biden’s claim that the case against his son Hunter was “selectively and unfairly prosecuted.” 
“The Government does not challenge that the defendant has been the recipient of an act of mercy. But that does not mean the grand jury’s decision to charge him, based on a finding of probable cause, should be wiped away as if it never occurred,” Weiss wrote.

Weiss filed a brief arguing that the judge sitting Hunter Biden’s tax case shouldn’t dismiss the indictment even though the president had pardoned his son.
“It also does not mean that his charges should be wiped away because the defendant falsely claimed that the charges were the result of some improper motive,” the special counsel said. He added that “no court has agreed with the defendant on these baseless claims, and his request to dismiss the indictment finds no support in the law or the practice of this district.” 
Weiss also noted in his filing that several federal judges had already dismissed Hunter Biden’s charges of vindictive prosecution.

Chicago police chief Jon Hein indicated officers are trying to identify “individuals” behind a shooting that killed three people and wounded five in a Chicago Lawn home Monday afternoon, according to CBS News.
Hein said, “We have eight victims…We’re going to solve this crime and find the individuals that are responsible for the heinous, terrible incident.”
WGN-TV noted that police were called to the scene at 2 p.m. Monday. Investigators indicated to WGN-TV there appeared to a “social gathering” at the home before the shooting began.

Neighbors near the home indicated “there was a party going on before shots were fired and that loud parties and gatherings have been a regular occurrence at the home over the last couple months.”
The gunshot victims were comprised of four males and four females, with three of the males succumbing to their wounds.
Breitbart News reported 16 people were shot by Saturday afternoon of Thanksgiving weekend, two of them fatally.

Barstool Sports owner Dave Portnoy torched Democrats and their supporters after President Joe Biden pardoned his son Hunter Biden.
Even though the Democrats and White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre consistently stated in 2024 that the president wouldn’t offer a pardon to his son, Biden issued a “full and unconditional” pardon on Sunday, despite the consistent claim by Democrats that “no one is above the law.”
In a social media video, Portnoy played a clip of Jean-Pierre repeatedly saying “no” to the idea of President Biden pardoning Hunter, before laying into the party and its supporters.
“What’s he do? Of course, he pardons him. Of course he does. Not only that. It’s for 11 years. So anything he could have possibly done in the history of time, he is pardoned for,” Portnoy claimed.
While he admitted he would do the same if it were one of his family members, Portnoy said he wouldn’t “lie about it.”
The 47-year-old went on to say that those supporting Democrats, while still believing they’re “morally superior to everybody else,” have had their brains broken by the party’s messaging.

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre on Monday defended President Joe Biden’s late night pardon of his son Hunter Biden, which broke promises he has consistently made since his son landed in legal trouble.
The president unexpectedly pardoned Hunter Biden on Sunday night for all federal crimes committed or possibly committed between 2014 and 2024. The blanket pardon means the first son cannot be prosecuted or sentenced for his tax charges, his federal gun charge, or any possible crime he committed while on the board of Burisma. 
Joe Biden and the White House have consistently stated that the president would not pardon Hunter Biden because no one was above the law. 
Jean-Pierre on Monday said that the reversal comes because the president did not believe Republicans would stop prosecuting Hunter Biden after the president leaves office next month, per The Hill.

A California lawmaker introduced a bill on Monday that would give the descendants of slaves priority admissions into the University of California and California State University schools, the state’s two public university systems.

The bill would change a precedent set nearly 30 years ago. Since 1996, California’s Proposition 209 has prohibited public schools, including the University of California and California State University, to use race as a factor in the admissions process.
California has long employed race-blind admissions efforts, which consider socio-economic status and location to identify disadvantaged students from immigrant or ethnic backgrounds.
