(WND News Center)—A new report from the Institute for Justice is warning Americans that their banks – and the federal government – secretly are spying on their money, their spending habits, their banking accounts and more.
With the punishment up to and including closing those accounts if the owner strays from what the government approves.
Such as shopping at specific retailers, or making cash deposits just under $10,000.
The institute explained, “Most Americans have no idea their financial accounts are being monitored. And that’s by design. The same federal law that mandates this surveillance also prohibits banks from telling customers about these reports.”
That means the first indication that a consumer may have about a government bureaucrat’s issue with their activity is when their accounts are closed.
The institute explained Bryan Delaney, a bar owner in New York City, learned the hard way in 2023 when his corporate and personal accounts were shut down.
It seems he offended Deep State members by often depositing cash amounts under $10,000 from his bar business.

On Tuesday, Hillsborough County Sheriff, Chad Chronister, stepped down just three days after being nominated. 

“To have been nominated by President-Elect Donald Trump to serve as Administrator of the Drug Enforcement Administration is the honor of a lifetime,” Chronister said in a statement.

A Chinese national was arrested on Tuesday for allegedly shipping weapons and ammunition from Long Beach, California, to North Korea.
Shenghua Wen, 41, who had been “illegally residing in the United States,” was charged with conspiracy to violate the International Emergency Economic Powers Act, according to a press release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Central District of California. The press release described Wen as being a Chinese nation who had overstayed his student visa in the U.S. and who was “therefore prohibited from possessing any firearms or ammunition.”

Violating the International Emergency Economic Powers Act is described as a “felony that carries a statutory maximum sentence of 20 years in federal prison,” according to the press release.
Wen reportedly “exported to North Korea shipments of firearms, ammunition and other military items” that had been “concealed inside shipping containers” from Long Beach. The containers were then shipped from Long Beach to Hong Kong and from Hong Kong to North Korea.

NBC News is reporting that at least six Republican Senators are balking at the idea of confirming Pete Hegseth, a veteran of the War on Terror and current host at Fox News who has been nominated to lead the Department of Defense by President-elect Trump.
Since Hegseth was announced as Trump’s nominee, he has been the target of numerous smear campaigns advanced by anti-Trump media outlets like the New York Times and NBC News.
Without evidence, mainstream media pundits have suggested that Pete Hegseth sexually assaulted a woman based on unproven allegations that were investigated by law enforcement and found to be without merit.

The Satanic Temple will offer an optional religious class at an elementary school in Ohio.
The program is called Hellions Academy of Independent Learning, or HAIL, and will be offered to children at the Edgewood Elementary School in the Marysville School District.
