According to sources within Congress, Former Koch Institute “research fellow” Dana Wade is being considered for the position of Deputy Secretary of the Department of Housing and Urban Development.
In 2021, Wade joined the Democrat partisan real estate financier Walker & Dunlop.
Walker & Dunlop spent hundreds of thousands of dollars in the last campaign cycle alone — shelling out cash to the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, and Trump’s primary opponent, Ron DeSantis.
In a post on Investors.com, Wade criticized Trump for not going “far enough” on financial reform.
Wade previously worked as Assistant Secretary of Housing and Urban Development and worked in the Office of Management and Budget. She was also previously a deputy staff director of the U.S. Senate Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs.
With the push for Wade, the ouster of Matt Gaetz and the attempts to block Pete Hegseth and Kash Patel, the full fledged effort by RINOs and Democrats to infiltrate the Trump administration is here.
It appears that Democrats dressed as Republicans are itching for positions within HUD.
Dallas Mayor Eric Johnson, best known for his controversial change in party affiliation from Democrat to Republican, was also being pushed for a HUD position in President-Elect Donald Trump’s cabinet — though he ultimately was not nominated.
Mayor Johnson had adamantly opposed the former president during the 2020 election.
In a post responding to Governor Greg Abbott’s banning sanctuary cities, the open-borders Mayor said, “Now, more than ever, we must stand with our immigrant community” and called on Texas to “resist the anti-immigrant efforts of the Rs.” The post ended with the hashtag “NoBanNoWallNoRaids.”
