Philosopher Hans-Hermann Hoppe reflects on the importance of freedom in an era in which equality is considered a priority for many. For Hoppe, true freedom depends on private property, which allows people to act without restrictions from others. In this conversation, he also explains anarchocapitalism: a society governed solely by private law, without State intervention. Furthermore, it offers a critique of the policies of Javier Milei, who has presented himself as an anarcho-capitalist. Could there really be a society without a State?

Train Influencers About Combatting Online “Misinformation”

The UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) is now incorporating teaching influencers how to “fact check” into its activities. UNESCO claims that influencers have become “primary sources of news and cultural information” around the world – which prompted it to carry out a survey into how these online personalities verify the “news” they present. President Joe Biden’s pardon of Hunter Biden is “selfish,” legitimizing potential pardons of January 6 defendants, the Washington Post’s editorial board complained Tuesday. The paper’s statement comes after media elites had for months regurgitated Joe Biden’s repeated lie that he would not pardon Hunter – all while Joe Biden reportedly planned to do so. The Post’s editorial board seemed to accuse Joe Biden of undermining its narratives about him.
