ISRAEL has delayed the release of more than 600 Palestinian prisoners until Hamas stops its “humiliating” hostage handover ceremonies.

Saturday’s planned release was abruptly halted as Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu lashed out at the terror group for using hostages as “cynical” propaganda tools.

Trump Says He’s Going With Musk to Check If There Is Gold in Fort Knox

The president’s comments come amid speculation about the condition of the gold in the heavily fortified military installation near Louisville. President Donald Trump confirmed Saturday that both he and Elon Musk are going to Fort Knox to make sure there’s gold there. Since the late 1930s, Fort Knox has housed a large portion of the United States’ official gold reserves and features significant security. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said last week that there is an audit every year and that “all the gold is present and accounted for.” Trump said Saturday during the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) that “we’re also going to Fort Knox” and that he’s going with Musk. “Would anybody like to join us? Man ‘dragged overboard from boat by shark’ during fishing competition as major hunt involving helicopter launched

FEARS are growing for a man who is thought to have been dragged overboard by a great white shark during a fishing competition on Saturday. A major air and sea search is to resume to desperately find the fisherman off the New South Wales coast in Australia. Aerial view of Newcastle Beach NSW Australia The man was taking party in the interclub fishing competition yesterday off the coast of Port Stephens when he dramatically fell overboard on Saturday. It’s understood that fisherman was then horrifically dragged under by a great white shark. The NSW Water Police, Marine Rescue NSW and the Life Saver Rescue helicopter were desperately searching the area 55km off the Newcastle coast, north of Sydney. And around 30 fishing vessels, including some of those in the competition, joined in on the search. The rescue operation for the fisherman has so far taken the shape of a line search across the water. Authorities have also undertaken drift testing to desperately find him. Inspector Paul Stitt from NSW Ambulance said paramedics were on standby for the missing fisherman. Canada’s small and medium-sized businesses lost about $60 billion in the first year of pandemic lockdowns, says the country’s national statistical agency. In a report published on Feb. 18, Statistics Canada said about 47 percent of all small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs)—businesses with annual salary expenses of less than $1.5 million—“experienced a drop in gross profit, totalling a loss of nearly $60 billion” from 2019 to 2020. “The pandemic was most challenging for client-facing industries,” says the report, which examines how Ottawa’s Canada Emergency Business Account (CEBA) program may have influenced SMEs’ survival rates during the COVID-19 pandemic lockdowns and restrictions. The CEBA program, created on March 27, 2020, paid businesses up to $60,000 in interest-free loans that would qualify for partial loan forgiveness if repaid by a set deadline. “The businesses that reported the largest declines in gross profit were client-facing ones, such as food service and drinking places, hotels, and offices of dentists and physicians,” said the StatCan report, as first covered by Blacklock’s Reporter.
