“Republicans want to kill your kids. It’s actually true.” At least, that’s what Washington Post columnist and MNSBC contributor Jennifer Rubin said on her podcast recently anyway. I was writing an article about it a few days ago, and all I could think about was how ridiculous and unhinged this woman sounded.
But I’d also just finished covering the Laken Riley murder trial, and it reminded me that Democrats don’t just “want to kill your kids.” Many of their laws and policies actually are killing your children as we speak. While Rubin was carrying on about how Republicans oppose breakthrough medical research and want to give minors semi-automatic weapons, the fact is that the Biden-Harris administration allowed Laken Riley’s murderer into the country illegally and even provided him with a free taxpayer-funded flight to Georgia. And while Riley was a 22-year-old college student, she was still someone’s child. Just watch this police body cam video of her mother and stepfather finding out that she is dead:
