John Rourke’s “Make America Clean Again” Initiative Unites Patriots to Support Border Patrol, National Guard, and Law Enforcement in Hidalgo County, Texas

Hidalgo County, Texas – American patriots from across the country gathered in Hidalgo County, Texas, to stand with the brave men and women protecting our borders as part of John Rourke’s “Make America Clean Again” initiative. More than 50 volunteers traveled from all over the United States to participate in the mission—serving meals, providing essential services, donating life-saving supplies, and restoring dignity to the front lines of America’s border crisis.

Partnering with rancher and renowned chef Austin Simmons, the initiative provided over 600 Border Patrol agents, National Guard soldiers, and local and state law enforcement officers with premium Texas Wagyu beef meals as a token of gratitude for their unwavering service.

Former Jets NFL quarterback Bill Demory dead at 74

A Jets quarterback who filled in when Joe Namath went down with an injury died earlier this month. Bill Demory, 74, passed away on Feb. 14 from prostate cancer and Parkinson’s, according to an online obituary. He was signed by the Jets in 1973 after playing his college ball at Arizona, where he threw 28 touchdowns in three seasons. Head coach Weeb Ewbank was given game film of Demory while at a general managers conference in Arizona and signed Demory. Bill Demory became a professor after his playing career. Legacy But at training camp, Demory was fifth on the quarterback depth chart. “I was a marginal quarterback at Arizona, and ended up being in the right place at the right time with the Jets,” he told the Observer-Dispatch in 2012. With some ineffective play from QBs ahead of him, Demory moved up to third. An injury to Namath made Al Woodall the starter and Demory was promoted from the taxi squad to backup QB.
