Matt Gaetz shocked MAGA country with his post on X stating he withdraws his nomination for Attorney General.
He then confirmed he won’t seek reelection to Congress after 14 years in public office.
Speaking with Charlie Kirk, he said he wanted to focus on family and support President Donald Trump in other ways.
Gaetz hinted at future roles but not one that would involve getting elected.

WASHINGTON — Former Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla., said Friday that he doesn’t plan to rejoin Congress after he withdrew his name from consideration to be President-elect Donald Trump’s attorney general amid sexual misconduct allegations.
