SACRAMENTO, Calif. — The Nets were already going to be without Dorian Finney-Smith and Ben Simmons on Monday at Golden State. But now both Dennis Schroder and Noah Clowney are in doubt, too.
Schroder missed Sunday’s win in Sacramento with right ankle soreness, while Clowney rolled his left ankle in the fourth quarter.
He had to be helped off the floor with six minutes left, and in the postgame locker room was being helped to the training room by Day’Ron Sharpe.
Still, he was at least buoyed by having avoided anything catastrophic.
“I think things are looking well. So I don’t know time or nothing like that, but it could be worse and it ain’t worse. So I’m happy,” said Clowney, who had 18 points on 5-for-8 shooting from deep and solid defense on Kings star Domantas…
