The Trump-Macron handshake feud continued on Monday during the French president’s trip to the White House.

French President Emmanuel Macron arrived at the White House on Monday for a bilateral meeting with Trump to discuss the Russia and Ukraine negotiations.

President Trump greeted Macron with a ‘death grip’ handshake.

After a quick meeting in the Oval Office, President Trump and Emmanuel Macron held a joint presser at the White House.

At the conclusion of the joint presser, Trump practically dislocated Macron’s shoulder in a power play handshake.

The handshake dynamics between President Trump and President Macron have been a focal point of media attention going back several years.

Their initial meeting on May 25, 2017, during a NATO summit in Brussels, featured a firm handshake that lasted several seconds.

Mexico’s president said Monday she was optimistic about reaching an agreement with Donald Trump this week to avoid sweeping US tariffs, hinting at possible levies on Chinese goods to secure a deal. Claudia Sheinbaum said talks with Washington would continue this week in an effort to avoid the 25 percent tariffs that Trump agreed on February 3 to “pause” for a month. CALGARY—The Alberta government will build two addiction recovery facilities as it prepares to introduce legislation for the involuntary treatment of people deemed to pose a public safety risk due to addiction issues.
