President Trump is making sure that when he returns to the White House on January 20, 2025, he has assembled an incredible team to help move his agenda forward both domestically and internationally.

On Saturday, Trump released a flurry of new nominations on Truth Social.

Tilman J. Fertitta has been nominated to serve as the United States Ambassador to Italy.

“I am pleased to announce that Tilman J. Fertitta has been nominated to serve as the United States Ambassador to Italy.”

“Tilman is an accomplished businessman, who has founded and built one of our Country’s premier entertainment and real estate companies, employing approximately 50,000 Americans. Additionally, Tilman is the longest serving Chairman of the Board of Regents for the University of Houston. He also owns the Houston Rockets Basketball Team.”

An elderly Texas member of Congress who has been missing from the Capitol for six months has been found in a nursing home that specializes in memory care, according to a report. Longtime Republican Rep. Kay Granger, 81, has not cast a vote in Washington D.C. since July — despite the GOP’s super-slim majority in the chamber. Her prolonged absence sparked concern among constituents in Texas’ 12th Congressional District, which is in the Dallas-Forth Worth metro area.
