Police arrested a man trying to enter the U.S. Capitol with a machete and three other knives as former President Jimmy Carter’s body lay at rest there. The man was arrested just hours before President Trump was set to visit the Capitol to pay respect to Carter. The man, who has yet to be identified to the public, was stopped by officers after police spotted a machete in his bag during an X-ray screening. Hollywood Streets Gridlock Amid Evacuations for Sunset Fire

The streets at the foot of the Hollywood Hills in Los Angeles were gridlocked Wednesday night as hundreds of people fled from the newly erupted Sunset fire in Runyon Canyon near the famous Hollywood sign. Footage of the gridlock was shared on social media Wednesday night. Video also showed the fire burning behind the famous Magic Castle. As Breitbart News reported, a horrific wildfire broke out in the Pacific Palisades in an ongoing windstorm, which officials have said may be the worst to hit the Los Angeles area since the 2011 windstorm that caused millions of dollars in property damage, including mass power outages and uprooted trees. A massive fire continues to rage through the west side of Los Angeles today, spread by winds of up to 100 miles per hour and forcing the evacuation of tens of thousands of residents in the Pacific Palisades area. Hollywood journalists want nothing more than a Resistance sequel, but so far it’s not happening. The fire started Tuesday morning in the Highlands neighborhood, nestled in the hills high above the Pacific Coast Highway.
