Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) has launched his campaign for re-election with a record $8 million and endorsements from top Trump-allied senators, he revealed to Breitbart News on Thursday.

Cotton, the third-ranking Senate Republican, cited “runaway inflation,” the “wide open” southern border, and other lasting effects from former President Joe Biden’s administration as reasons why his constituents should vote to help him advance President Donald Trump’s plan to better the country:

With President Trump and a Republican Congress, we can turn things around for Arkansas and our nation. Let’s secure our border, deport criminal illegal aliens, and stop the drug traffickers. Let’s end wasteful liberal spending, cut your taxes, and get inflation under control. Let’s rebuild our military, crack down on China, stop Iran from getting nukes, and always stand with Israel.

“Together, we’ll make Arkansas and our nation stronger, and safer,” he promised.

The $8 million that Cotton has in campaign cash to run for a third term in the Senate is a record for Arkansas, a representative from his team said.

Graphic footage obtained by The Daily Wire appears to showcase how violent New York prisons have become for inmates, correctional officers, and other workers since the Democrat-backed HALT Act took effect in 2022. A source, who wishes to remain anonymous out of fear of retribution, leaked the alleged footage from Green Haven Correctional Facility, wishing to expose how dangerous conditions are as 15,000 correctional officers and sergeants across the state remain on strike. “I send this footage to you to help the public understand what it is we face and why we are on strike,” the source said. “This is not about money. It’s about how the liberal agenda has destroyed our justice system.” As The Daily Wire previously reported, the strike began on February 17, with officers asking for the HALT Act to be repealed and to have other safety measures put into place, including stopping mandated shifts that officers say can sometimes last days at a time. A Texas nonprofit tied to one of former President Joe Biden’s transition team members was on the receiving end of a government contract for its overflow facility in Pecos. Family Endeavors, which had employed the transition team member since 2021, saw its “cash and portfolio of investments grew from $8.3M in 2020 to $520.4M in 2023” with the sole source of funds coming from the feds, according to a statement by DOGE. Since March of 2024, Family Endeavors’ managers have reliably received $18 million per month to operate a facility meant for housing unaccompanied migrant children. This may be one of those moments where I hold an unpopular opinion, but I stand by it. As a mother who single-handedly raised a 24-year-old and an 18-year-old while serving as their primary breadwinner, I feel well-equipped to offer my perspective. If you choose to run for a seat in Congress, you have an obligation to show up and vote—yes, that includes mothers, too. When I was a single mother raising my two-year-old son, Barry University opened a campus in Orlando designed for nontraditional law students and offered me a scholarship. Accepting it would have meant selling my home, moving in with my parents, and essentially entrusting them with raising my son for the next four years. Torn about the decision, I sought guidance from a mentor who offered this wise advice: ‘You can have it all, just not all at once.’ Reflecting on that, I chose to focus on raising my son and forgo law school.
