The Trump administration’s war on wokeness continues as more federal agencies slash diversity, equity, and inclusion spending.

Shockingly, the Trump administration appears to understand that it is supposed to spend our taxpayer money according to our wishes. The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and the Department of Education (DEd) — which could be on the chopping block altogether — are the latest agencies to ax ridiculous DEI spending. If DEI is the disease, Donald Trump and DOGE are the cure.

HUD canceled a whopping $4 million in DEI contracts identified by the new Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), according to a press release from HUD Secretary Scott Turner. The DOGE task force is examining $260 million worth of HUD contracts, per the press release.

The terminated contracts were intended for “DEI culture transformation,” including outward mindset training and diversity and inclusion research subscription services. This action from Secretary Turner builds on President Trump’s Day One Executive Order that ended radical and wasteful government DEI programs and preferential hiring practices.

US President Donald Trump signed a memo Friday calling for curbs on Chinese investments in strategic sectors like tech and critical infrastructure — including restrictions by a foreign investment review panel. The federal government added seven new entities to its list of terrorist organizations, five drug cartels and two street gangs, as it ramps up its law enforcement posture in response to the U.S. tariff threat. Electric vehicles and the American driver: a match made in heaven. At least, that’s the story Democrats have been telling for a while. In reality, sparks are definitely not flying. Deloitte suspects that some of this push against EVs ‘could be due, in part, to lingering affordability concerns.’ In fact, only 5% of U.S. consumers want their next car to be an EV, according to a new survey from Deloitte — with almost two-thirds explicitly stating their preference for an internal combustion engine (ICE). The consulting company gathered data from more than 31,000 people across 30 countries as part of its 2025 Global Automotive Consumer Study. It makes for some interesting comparisons — especially when it comes to powertrains, connectivity, and artificial intelligence. Among U.S. consumers, ICE remains number one, with 62% indicating that their next car will not be electrified. Another 20% would like a hybrid for their next vehicle, with a further 6% desiring a plug-in hybrid. By contrast, only 38% of Chinese consumers want to stick with ICE; meanwhile, 27% of them intend for their next automotive purchase to be a battery electric vehicle (BEV).
