For years, the taxpayer-funded left-wing news outlet Voice of America has been the voice against real America broadcasting around the world. Some, including President Trump, have accused the outlet of being a mouthpiece for the Chinese Communist Party rather than the outreach representing American interests abroad. That’s about to change. On Wednesday, Trump announced former news anchor Kari Lake would lead the organization. According to News Nation: Trump said he was picking Kari Lake, a former news anchor and a hardline Republican who failed to win an Arizona Senate seat last month, to be the director of U.S. government-funded media outlet Voice of America.
