We never know what we’re going to find while scrolling on X. But, this is one of the more unusual things we have discovered. It’s a video of Paris Hilton apparently riding a motorized suitcase scooter outside of the U.S. Capitol building. It’s gets weirder. She’s also lipsyncing audio of a very young Barron Trump saying ‘I like my suitcase!’ No, really!

German authorities received a warning last year about the suspected perpetrator in a car attack at a Christmas market, a government office said Sunday as more details emerged about the five people killed in the attack. “This was taken seriously, like every other of the numerous tips,” the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees said Sunday on X about the tip it said it received in the late summer of last year. Japan’s Fair Trade Commission plans to issue a cease-and-desist order against Google for violating the anti-monopoly law, sources said Sunday. The Japanese antitrust watchdog found that the U.S. company has forced smartphone makers to install its search app, the people said. Google will be the first U.S. technology giant to receive a cease-and-desist order from the FTC. The FTC has notified Google of the plan and will make a final decision after hearing opinions from the company, the people said. Google has signed contracts with makers of smartphones that run its Android operating system to have them install its Google Search and Google Chrome apps on home screens in exchange for allowing them to install their own app stores, the people said. Wave of attempted arson attacks hits Russia

Russia has seen a wave of attempted arson attacks targeting banks, shopping centres, post offices and government buildings over the last three days, according to media reports. Around 20 separate cases of individuals trying to set off small explosive devices or launching fireworks into buildings have been recorded since Friday, mostly in Saint Petersburg, Moscow and the surrounding suburbs, according to the state-run TASS news agency and the independent Fontanka site. Citing an unnamed law enforcement source, TASS reported that the people had been recruited by online fraudsters offering money for the attempted attacks. Footage from surveillance cameras at some of the sites, shared on social media, appeared to show individuals using their mobile phones to film the fires they tried to set off. Images from the aftermath of one attack showed a destroyed ATM and nearby windows blown out, while another showed a burnt-out police car. Man Rescued After Falling Into Sinkhole in Toronto

First responders have rescued a man who had fallen into a sinkhole in Toronto’s Yorkville neighbourhood. The incident happened around 10:45 p.m. on Dec. 20 in the Davenport Road and Bay Street area, Laurie McCann, spokesperson for the Toronto Police Service, told The Epoch Times in an email. Police, Toronto firefighters, and paramedics all responded to the call, McCann said. A spokesperson for Toronto Fire Services said in a phone interview that the man had been walking in a laneway when he fell into the one-metre hole. He then became trapped up to his knees in debris that was in the hole. However, his waist was still above ground. Fire crews at the scene were able to dig into the hole and free the man.
