World leaders back Zelensky after White House row with Trump – as Russia brands Ukrainian president an ‘insolent pig’

WORLD leaders have flocked around Volodymyr Zelensky in support after his furious, historic row with Donald Trump in the Oval Office.

Leaders from the EU piled behind Ukraine and blamed Russia – which gleefully branded Zelensky an “insolent pig” after the clash.

Zelensky yesterday flew to Washington to sign a critical minerals deal, but was booted out of the White House early after a sensational scrap.

Trump accused him of “not wanting peace” and “gambling with World War Three” as tensions flared.

The splintering relations threaten to destabilise the entire western alliance, but Europe has reacted by standing firm with Ukraine.

Kaja Kallas, the EU’s foreign policy chief, even said that the “free world needs a new leader”, after Trump degraded the embattled Ukrainian with a bitter onslaught.

Keir Starmer is the only leader who has spoken to both Trump and Zelensky since the feud.

Many are acting like they can’t think of anything, like they may need to “phone a friend” to get an answer. We know that the overwhelming number of federal employees are Democrats. That’s not a crime. But what is, is that far fewer than one in five federal employees were working full time in the office. What were they doing? Playing pickleball? We know from Bureau of Labor Statistics data that the quit rate in the federal government is only one-third as high as the quit rate for those who work in the private sector. Rep. Chris Smith (R-N.J.), a senior member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, and Rep. John Moolenaar (R-Mich.), chair of the House Select Committee on the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), said that allowing China to build what they called a “super-embassy” on the site of the Royal Mint Court in London would be a “counterproductive and unearned reward.” The two lawmakers wanted Mandelson to convey their concerns to British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, who met with President Donald Trump in Washington on Feb. 27. The Chinese regime first announced plans for a nearly 700,000-square-foot embassy at the Royal Mint Court, a historic site near the Tower of London, in 2018. Japan battles biggest wildfire in decades

Japan was battling its largest wildfire in more than three decades on Saturday, one of several blazes that have killed one person and forced the evacuation of more than a thousand. Flames are estimated to have spread over about 1,200 hectares in the forest of Ofunato in the northern region of Iwate since fire broke out on Wednesday, according to the Fire and Disaster Management Agency. “We’re still examining the size of the affected area, but it is the biggest since the 1992 wildfire” in Kushiro, Hokkaido, an agency spokesman said.
